It Is Numbers That Dominates People's Lives

One can never get away from numbers. From the time when primitive people would count by means of sticks and perhaps bones, stones or perhaps small nuts, up to the time when large machines are used to compute large numbers like the google plex, man never ceases to think of ever larger numbers. It is not enough that there are billions of stars in a galaxy or that there are billions of galaxies in the universe man still needs to figure out more accurately the numbers.

Websites are also subject to numbers. More mundane than celestial numbers, large computers are used to keep track of the surfing habits of over six hundred million people who are online every day.
